Conventions used
There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.
Code in text
: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: “To do that, find the credit_card_default
table in the bigquery-public-data
project, under the ml_datasets
dataset.”
A block of code is set as follows:
random_forest_classifier = RandomForestClassifier(n_estimators=100) random_forest_classifier.fit(X_train,y_train)
Any command-line input or output is written as follows:
$ pip install -r requirements
Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see on screen. For instance, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in bold. Here is an example: “First, you must create a Vertex AI notebook – either Colab Enterprise or Workbench.”
