Summary
In this chapter, the focus has been on the various methods to interact with ChatGPT, each with its unique set of advantages, catering to different user needs and technical proficiencies. Initially, we looked at the ChatGPT interface, distinguishing between the Free and Plus versions while highlighting the latter’s enhanced features, which include faster response times and access to the GPT-4 model, which is instrumental for more complex tasks. We also covered the novel feature of custom instructions, which significantly optimizes user interaction by retaining specified instructions across sessions.
Moving on to OpenAI Playground, we looked at how this sandbox is a great platform for experimentation with OpenAI models. With a user-friendly interface, it allows for hands-on exploration of models, saving and sharing sessions, and viewing the underlying code, serving as a bridge between a point-and-click and a more code-driven approach.
