The use of textures is an outstanding option in Blender to create rich graphics for any video production. When you mix 3D graphics such as planes with textures to make a video, you can create almost any type of content.
However, using textures will give you much more freedom to overcome a limitation of the Video Sequencer Editor. Until now, we have managed to add videos to the Sequencer to cut and mount in several different ways. One thing you can't do with videos in the Sequencer is to scale down two clips and show them at the same time in the render (Figure 6.1):
For projects that require you to create a more complex infographic using multiple videos at once, having this limitation will be a huge problem.
