Summary

In this chapter, we learned what IT systems administration is and how to employ it as a discipline. We explained how to manage systems, services, and solutions. We rendered the multiple technology domains and showed how to navigate through them as multiple layers. We understood the concept and the usage of the IaC approach. Also, we consolidated our knowledge of this topic by going through a simulation lab available in the GitHub repository.

Now, you should know what IT systems administration is as a discipline, how SREs handle systems administration by navigating in matrixial technology domains, and how they apply IaC to provision and manage systems.
