A thinking quantum computer is not a reproduction of brain function but a representation of the mind of a person. Neuroscientists are making progress on using machine learning to understand the brain. But artificial intelligence mostly uses algorithms that simulate our way of thinking, not our brain's functions.
The endeavor of the Quantum MindX experiment is to build a personal mind named MindX, with memories of past events, conversations, chats, photographies, and more as described in Chapter 16, Improve the Emotional Intelligence Deficiencies of Chatbots.
This section describes how to build MindX, a thinking computer. It is not the project itself, which would be beyond the scope of the book. I've been doing research on this subject for many years. The power of quantum computation will no doubt boost research in this field.
