Technical requirements
To follow along with this chapter, you’ll need a Meta Quest 2 or 3 headset and a USB-C cable to connect it to your computer. The cable lets you push the Unity project build to your device and test some functionality directly in the Unity Editor’s play mode.
If you don’t have an MR headset
You can still follow along in this chapter even without owning an MR headset – by using the Meta XR Simulator, available from the Unity Asset Store: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/integration/meta-xr-simulator-266732.
You can download the complete project from GitHub at https://github.com/PacktPublishing/Unity-2022-by-Example.
