Taking notes
The Notes app mimics a paper notepad. While a paper notepad has a limited number of pages and each page has a limited amount of space, the Notes app lets you create an unlimited number of pages of unlimited size.
Once you capture your ideas in the Notes app, you can share them with others or simply copy and paste text from the Notes app into another app, such as the Pages word processor.
Understanding folders
To help you keep your notes organized, the Notes app can store them in folders, much like folders on a computer. The idea is to create separate folders for storing related notes, such as a folder for work projects and another folder for personal information. By creating and using folders, you can better organize your notes to help you find them again.
