The need for level control

Jacob was in college and was sitting under a tree staring at the college building. He noticed the overhead water tank on the college building was spilling over. The college staff noticed this, and the building supervisor rushed to the terrace and attended to the issue. He was instantly drawn into Josef’s shoes and started considering how, this being water, it would be easy to manage and there was little risk involved in touching the fluid. However, what would happen in an industry where the fluid was not water but maybe some corrosive or hazardous fluid? During his previous conversation, Josef had mentioned that his next discussion and control challenge would be on the management and control of fluid levels.
