Building a Distributed Cloud and Edge Platform

Once the operating model was defined, the core team worked on building the components and processes to implement the operating model. For the purpose of this book, let us take the Platform and Tenant Experience stream and explain how Bison Insurance built its distributed cloud and edge platform covering all dimensions, items, and their dependencies that are captured in the Bison operating model. The following screenshot shows the Platform and Tenant Experience stream dashboard:

One of the key dimensions of this stream is the platform dimension. Most other dimensions that are listed under this stream are built upon the platform. The following screenshot shows the PTE.Platform dimension dashboard, where all items under the platform dimension are captured:
