Summary
In this chapter, we covered important topics around application governance, security, and ALM. First, we covered the importance of establishing a strategy for creating and using Power Platform environments. We provided different examples and some key questions to consider in establishing environments. We also covered having a naming convention strategy. Next, we discussed using service accounts versus individual accounts. We covered what a service account is and how it differs from an individual account while providing some potential use cases. Then, we discussed the concept of DLP in Power Platform environments and how data policies can be used to support this. Finally, we concluded by showing how these concepts can be applied to support an ALM strategy.
In the next chapter, we will consider the important topic of error handling.
