Technical requirements

To follow along with this chapter, you need to have a clear understanding of the HyperText Transfer Protocol/HTTP Secure (HTTP/HTTPS), Transport Layer Security (TLS), and Domain Name System (DNS) protocols. It is also advisable to have an OPNsense system with a host connected to its local area network (LAN). My suggestion is to use the previously configured lab scenario (Chapter 9, Multi-WAN – Failover and Load Balancing) with OPNsense and Ubuntu virtual machines (VMs).
