Chapter 2. Installing Enterprise Manager Grid Control

We introduced Rob, the Middleware administrator, at the beginning of the book. After sleepless nights and many escalations from the user community, Rob felt the heat. He convinced his management and fellow administrators to implement proactive monitoring within their IT organization. He decided to do away with his pride and an all scripts approach.
