In this chapter, we covered configuring SharePoint hybrid search using both the Hybrid Configuration Wizard and manually through PowerShell. SharePoint hybrid search allows you to configure both the SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online environments to return a complete list of results to your users, regardless of where they initiate the query. This is critical in ensuring users can locate the data they need. Configuring hybrid search through either PowerShell or the Hybrid Configuration Wizard will give organizations the ability to work more seamlessly between their cloud and on-premises platforms.
