Project planning


While preparing the scene, there are a small number of aspects that need to be considered. Although variety is essential to add life to any scene, there is a difference between variety and pandemonium. We need to fight the temptation to start placing everything that is available in the Lumion's libraries. For example, there is no sense in placing European trees along with African trees or using a certain type of car that 'isn't correct for the type of project, just to mention a few aspects.

Usually, along with the CAD plans and depending on the size of the project, we have a landscape plan that shows where trees and other elements (if any) will be planted, as shown in the following screenshot:

How can we translate this information from the CAD plan to Lumion? We will not have problems with the CAD plan shown previously because there isn't much information. However, with more complex projects we may need help and one easy way is by using a dummy object that shows where each...
