Open Connectivity Foundation and Allseen Alliance

The Open Connectivity Foundation was originally called the Open Interconnect Foundation but changed its name in 2016 to the Open Connectivity Foundation after the separation of Samsung from the working group and the addition of new members. For several years it was a separate entity from the Allseen Alliance, but in 2016 the organizations merged.
