In this chapter, a Watson Analytics project was used to create an individualized plan based upon characteristics found within a pool of user behavior data. The plan focused on Caucasian retirees who were first-time buyers. What Watson found was that for this type of user, Education and Income Range together are strong predictors of whether a user will make a purchase.
In the next chapter, we will discuss integrating IBM Watson Analytics with an organization's forecasting system to test an organization's product sales forecasting effectiveness, comparing forecasts to actual results.
