Installing Elasticsearch

Going from nothing to a functional Elasticsearch setup requires the software to be installed; this can be done in several ways and on different platforms. Some of these installation options are as follows:

Installing from the source
Installing deb for Debian-based Linux Distributions
Installing rpm for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, sound library for embedded systems (SLES), OpenSLES, and RPM-based distributions
