The iPhone/iPad client
The iCacti client supports multiple Cacti instances as well as browsing Cacti trees. It allows the user to view graphs and change the time frame of the graphs using some pre-defined values.
Requirements
Besides a Cacti server that can be accessed either by an Internet or VPN connection, users also need to have access to at least one Cacti tree. As most users on a Cacti system already have this access, there shouldn't be any problem using the iCacti client to access the server.
Advantages
The client doesn't require any special software or plugin to be installed on the Cacti server. With the 2.x version, access requirements for mobile users have been reduced to the normal Cacti access and console access isn't needed any more. Earlier versions did require console access, therefore the client was only useable by Cacti administrators.
Disadvantages
Cacti administrators aren't able to limit mobile client access to some specific users as the iPhone client uses the Cacti web page like any normal browser does.
Support
Some support is provided through the Cacti forums and via e-mail. Please make sure to read the feedback posted by some of the existing iCacti users.
