Technical overview of the Hyper-V Replica feature

An organization can deploy Hyper-V Replica as a virtual machine replication solution for replicating all the VM-related data and changes to its secondary computing site or a disaster recovery site. Hyper-V Replica can use the normal LAN or WAN medium for transmitting this replication data from one site to another. A functional Hyper-V Replica solution between two different sites will look like the following diagram:
