Chapter 13: Rocketing into the Pixel Cosmos
Welcome to the thirteenth and final chapter of Up and Running with Affinity Designer. In this third exercise chapter, we will continue to build on what we have learned in the previous two chapters, and this time we will tackle creating Ricky's racing rocket. The finished illustration project should look something like the example in Figure 13.1 and utilizes a combination of Designer Persona and Pixel Persona workflows:
As you can see, this final illustration is slightly different in appearance from the previous exercise. In this illustration, we are adopting a hybrid workflow, taking advantage of the vector features as well as the pixel painting features of Affinity Designer.
