More real time dependencies between components: In traditional environments, functionality is duplicated. If the server that runs your ERP system goes down, the marketing department can still use their CRM application. But in an SOA, if a service goes down, multiple consumers will suffer the consequences. So changing hardware or restarting a server potentially has a high impact on the operation of your business.
