In this chapter, we’ve looked at several ways that the Power Platform provides a replacement for on-premises SharePoint functionality. It is also a much broader and more potent way to enhance, automate, and visualize data and processes from across the M365 toolbox.
Power Automate provides workflow and process automation capabilities. Power Apps provides a way to build no-code/low-code solutions complete with business logic and data interactions. Power BI provides reporting and dashboard capabilities to visualize data quickly but robustly. Connectors provide the underlying capability that each tool relies upon to connect to M365 and third-party systems to provide either personal productivity or enterprise-scale applications.
