Questions

  1. If a mesh modifier works in three dimensions, in how many dimensions does an F-curve modifier work?
  2. For F-curves that will be modified, why does it (occasionally) not matter where we insert our initial keyframes?
  3. The Generator modifier can also generate F-curves using quadratic and cubic polynomial functions. What might these be useful for?
  4. In what cases is pi an important number in F-curve modifiers? Why?
  5. Some modifiers have an Additive option. What does enabling this allow us to do?
  6. What would happen if the Stepped Interpolation modifier in our exercise came before the Generator modifier in the modifier stack?
  7. What happens when you try to animate a property of an F-curve modifier?
  8. Why bother trying to simulate camera shake in an animation when so much modern camera and video software tries to eliminate it from live-action footage?
