The traditional data storage process with its on premises component has long been an inefficient way of processing data from sources generated by new technologies. The Internet of Things (IoT), big data, appliance systems, sensors, applications, and advanced devices make the processing of data and workload simple, unrepeatable, and obsolete.
The information that is displayed in organizational reports is not processed in real time and subsequently does not describe the current state of affairs. If the needs of the businesses are satisfied by applying the existing model, the previous information does not represent such an important factor.
