Day 30 – being thankful and demonstrating it
This is the last day of our time together and I want to share the most important discipline of all.
We all want a lot out of life. You are now focused, disciplined, and ready to move into action to have more. First, you must take inventory of what you have now and what you are grateful for.
This alone will shift your energy and start to shift your thinking to where it all starts. Take a moment and in your notebook list all the things you are grateful for.
Think. Compare yourself to others who are less fortunate, here at home or elsewhere in the world. What about those in hospitals and prisons? Do you have freedom? Any possessions to be thankful for? Do you have an income? What about the people in your life—anyone there to be thankful for? Do you have a supporting team, or family? How is your life? Your health, mind, body, and spirit? Can you see, hear, taste, smell, and feel? Can you speak?
