Downloading Animations

There are three animation types we need to download from Mixamo: an idle animation, a walking animation, and a dying animation.

Later, you will learn how to transition between animations, so you can download other Mixamo animations if you like, but wiring up those animations will be an exercise for you.

The three animations we will download are Warrior Idle, Walking, and Dying. You can type the names into the Mixamo search bar to find them. There are actually a lot of anims that have the name dying. It's not critical you get the one I chose, but you can try to match the thumbnails in Fig 12.30:

To do that, follow these steps:

1. With the walking animation selected, change Overdrive to 60 and Character Arm-Space to 80. These feel more space marine-like to me.
2. Check the In Place box. We do that since we will move our character through code and not root motion.
