Adding your own CSS

The JIRA administration interface allows you to change the look and feel of various elements in JIRA and to change the default logo. Perform these steps to customize your JIRA interface:

  1. Navigate to Administration | System | Look and feel (under USER INTERFACE).
  2. The first option on this page is to change Logo. Click on the Browse… button and then click on the Upload Logo button to upload your own custom logo:

  3. The second option is to display Site Title, located next to logo. Check the Show Site Title checkbox and click on the Update button:

    You will notice that the name of your instance, which you entered while installing JIRA, will now appear right next to the JIRA logo. In our example, it's Sparxsys JIRA Demo, which now appears next to the JIRA logo:

  4. The third option is to update Favicon, which appears in the browser tab when JIRA is opened. Click on the Browse… button to select the new Favicon image and then click on the Upload Favicon...
