Crafting compelling prompts
Creating compelling prompts with DALL-E 3 involves a blend of clarity, creativity, and specificity.
In revisiting the ABCs of DALL-E 3 from Chapter 1, we are reminded to consider three key elements – artistic style, background, and colors:
- Artistic style: This is our first decision. What style should our output be in? It could be anything from realistic to abstract, impressionistic to modern. The style sets the tone for our image. Refer to Chapter 2 for a recap of the various artistic styles we have explored.
- Background: Next, we need to decide on the background. Should it be a simple, uncluttered white, focusing all attention on our subject? Or perhaps a specific setting, such as a beach or a nightclub, would better suit our purpose? The background can dramatically change the context and feel of our image.
- Colors: Finally, we have the choice of colors. Do we prefer a monochromatic scheme, maybe black and white with a striking splash...
