In this section, we will add content from blogs on other sites that is relevant to the customers of our site. This can help customers recognize you as an authority in your area and make the site more useful to them.

Allowing your site to read content

In this section, we'll configure the core Drupal Aggregator module.

Goal

Set up the core Aggregator module to collect posts from other blogs and display them on the Artisan Bakers Collective site.

Steps

In this section, we'll enable and configure the Aggregator module. This module will allow us to feed in content to our site from other external websites.

  1. Activate the Aggregator module through the modules administration screen.

  2. The Aggregator module configuration can now be accessed by clicking on Configuration and then Feed aggregator, from the WEB SERVICES table.

  3. There are several settings available to the Feed aggregator. These can be found by clicking on the SETTINGS...
