Communicating the data literacy vision
In this section, we will focus on how you can internally market and communicate the data literacy vision to the entire organization. The keys to effective internal marketing are focusing on desired outcomes, adopting a systemic perspective, and getting all employees involved in the whole process.
Focusing on desired outcomes
During the planning stage, you have identified what you want the organization to do at a strategic level. Now, you need to go one level deeper and communicate the specific problems you are trying to solve. For example, if the organization tends to make instinct-based decisions, partly because either the data team does not provide the data or the decision makers do not trust the data, then those are the problems that you should communicate you are trying to address.
