Summary
Thanks for staying with me. This was probably one of the longest chapters as we covered two major topics – DWC and SAC. This is because they are related to each other and, together, serve as the foundation for providing the necessary capabilities to turn data into insights and actions integrated into business processes.
We started this chapter by introducing DWC, its use cases, and the key concepts, such as Space. We also covered the various options regarding data integration – both federation and replication from on-premise and cloud data sources – and explained how DWC works with SAP BW through SAP BW Bridge, which is important for customers who have existing investments in SAP BW. After that, we discussed the different modeling capabilities, which include Data Builder for technical users and Business Builder for business users. We wrapped up the DWC section by explaining how to consume content from DWC in SAC.
