Conventions used
There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.
Code in text
: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: "It will add all the necessary npm packages of the Clarity library to the dependencies
section of the package.json
file."
A block of code is set as follows:
<div class="main-container"> Â Â <div class="content-container"> Â Â Â Â <div class="content-area"> Â Â Â Â Â Â <app-issue-list></app-issue-list> Â Â Â Â </div> Â Â </div> </div>
When we wish to draw your attention to a particular part of a code block, the relevant lines or items are set in bold:
"styles": [ Â Â "node_modules/@clr/ui/clr-ui.min.css", Â Â "src/styles.css" ]
Any command-line input or output is written as follows:
ng add @angular/material --theme=indigo-pink --typography=true --animations=true
Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see onscreen. For instance, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in bold. Here is an example: "Click on the ADD NEW ISSUE button and enter the details of a new issue."
