Conventions used
There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.
Code in text

or PDF
, or as a Vector
file that can be opened in other vector-based applications and software such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Affinity Photo, and Inkscape, among others.”
Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see onscreen. For instance, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in bold. Here is an example: “Next, while the image is selected (with the Selection Tool), go to the Edit menu, choose Define New, and select Brush.”
