Touring the user interface

To get to the three pages that will be discussed, go to the Start page and click on the large plus sign labeled New…. This will open the Templates browser as seen in this screenshot:

You can use the first three template buttons here to open a new Song, a new Project, and a new Show, respectively.

Please note that our aim in this chapter is to explore the Studio One environment and get acquainted with the windows and tools in the interface. You will learn more about the functions of these tools and windows as we progress through the book.

The Song page

The Song page is the heart of Studio One, where you will create and develop your projects. Here’s an empty Song page:
