Summary

Among practitioners, I have found there to be many differing opinions about MuleSoft Catalyst. What we have done in this chapter is provide you with a foundation to help you determine how and where the Catalyst approach can help you. This chapter outlined the foundation of Catalyst, what it is, and, importantly, what it is not. You learned how Catalyst is structured, what its principles are, and how its foundation supports the three pillars: Business Outcomes, Technical Delivery, and Organizational Enablement.

We discovered that there are many assets in Catalyst ranging from templates to patterns to examples all wrapped inside best practices for creating the organizational changes to support the work.
