Auditing creates a log record for every change to a field value on a record. This audit history is a log of all user data changes. By default, the auditing feature is disabled, and no changes are logged.
To enable auditing, you must enable auditing at three levels:
- Organization: Off by default. Start Auditing in Audit settings turns auditing on for the organization.
- Entity: Off by default. Each entity must be enabled for auditing. This cannot currently be done in the Power Apps maker portal; you must switch to the classic solution explorer.
- Field: On by default. Fields can be enabled and disabled for auditing in the Power Apps maker portal.
To enable an entity for auditing, choose the Auditing option in the properties for an entity. The following screenshot shows how to enable an entity for auditing:
