In this chapter, we learned about the workings and usefulness of AWK in one-liners. We looked at various one-liners from a data scientist and system administrator perspective. Finally, we covered some use case examples of the AWK-like parsing of web server logs, using AWK. This chapter is ready reference of various AWK examples for practical implementation in day-to-day life.
