Minimum recommended hardware:
- Desktop PC or laptop
- 2 gigabytes (GB) free disk space
- 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM)
- 500 kilobits per second (Kbps) or faster internet connection
Software requirements:
- OS (Linux or Mac): Docker, Docker Compose, Git (optional)
- OS (Windows): Docker for Windows and Git for Windows
- Python 3.x, PyMongo driver, and Apache (already installed in the Docker container used for the book)
Installation of the required software and how to restore the code repository for the book is explained in Chapter 2, Setting Up MongoDB 4.x.
To run the code examples in this chapter, open a Terminal window (Command Prompt) and enter these commands:
cd /path/to/repo/chapters/16
docker-compose build
docker-compose up -d
