Facing the challenges of Ethereum and blockchain
Much progress has been made in Ethereum over the last few years. Overall, the current state of Ethereum is still a work in progress. Ethereum has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with the world around us. However, there are quite a few challenges that Ethereum and blockchain are facing. We will go through them in the following sections.
Scalability and economic security
Scalability is the most pressing issue in the Ethereum community post the merge. As billions of dollars of economic value were locked in the base protocol and its ecosystem, economic security becomes a top priority in any scalability solution implementations.
