Installing a Joomla! administrator template

A fundamental task in changing your Joomla! administrator template is installing an administrator template.

Getting ready

You can find a number of free alternative administrator templates on the official Joomla! extensions website at http://extensions.joomla.org. Once you've found the administrator template you want to use, save it to your computer.

For this example, we'll use the AdminPraise Lite template, available at http://www.adminpraise.com/joomla/admin-templates/free/adminpraise-lite.php.

How to do it...

1. 1. Log in to the administration panel of your Joomla! website, and go to Extensions | Install/Uninstall:
