I am sure the same thing has happened to you, too, such as when you have started your computer and the screen has come on, but the operating system did not? To further reinforce our thinking, it is the Power-On Self-Test (POST) that displays an error message on the monitor that refers to a non-system disk, disk error, or missing a boot device.
