If you are newly into networking, another book, which is also written as a study guide for an exam, is the Network+ Certification Guide by Anthony Sequeira. The first five chapters are an excellent read as an introduction to networking. Much older and more difficult to read is the freely available TCP/IP Redbook from IBM (https://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/gg243376.pdf); it covers much more than you need to know, but if you are interested in the topic, it's a must-read.
