Organizations need to assume that they either have been or will be compromised. There's no organization that's immune against a cyberattack. On average it takes an organization up to 180 days till they discover that they've been compromised. That means that, for 180 days, your system is at risk without you knowing about it. Many organizations focus on purchasing the latest technologies but, when a cyberattack happens and the service is disrupted, they wonder why the technology didn't protect, detect, and/or respond to it.
