User experience has evolved a lot with each new version of Dynamics CRM. This continues with the release of Dynamics 365 version 9, where the navigation was again redesigned based on user feedback. As part of this process, now navigation is less obtrusive, takes less screen real estate, and is more dynamic. The sub-layers of navigation have been restructured to minimize the amount of scrolling needed. As such, new groups have been created and present options vertically as smaller tiles.

The navigation remains highly customizable, and the logical modules are clearly presented. This navigation can easily be changed to add new modules, remove existing ones, and re-arrange items.
With the introduction of the various hubs and the application model, leveraging the Unified Interface, the navigation is now fully configurable to reflect only the necessary elements for a specific application....
