We have covered quite a bit of ground here in relatively few pages. We saw how to calculate the determinant and how it plays a role in finding the inverse of matrices. Many types of eigen-stuff were discussed, and ways to find them were also given. Finally, we saw how the trace is calculated and how it relates to everything else we covered in this chapter. These concepts will equip you to do serious linear algebra and quantum computing going forward. In the next chapter, we will bring everything together that we learned in the last seven chapters to explore the space where qubits live!
