Exit popups are a popular tactic employed by most sites in an effort to mitigate high bounce rates. It is your last chance to convert a visitor before they leave your site. Some people often find popups to be annoying, but the reality is that statistics show they do indeed work. So, even if you annoy one or two visitors, you might as well take the chance since they were about to leave anyway.
In HubSpot, preparing an exit popup can be done in just a few easy steps:
