IaaS optimization
IaaS is a purchase model offered by cloud service providers that enables infinite capacity without any kind of limit or restriction on networking, compute, storage, and whatever resource we may need.
As great as these service offerings are, they are also a double-edged sword: if we don’t have enough control and visibility on cloud costs at all times, the costs can grow exponentially in no time.
As we often tell our clients and peers, “The only limit that compute capacity has in the cloud is the size and limit of your credit card” or, as Uncle Ben in Spider-Man says, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
