Creating organizations – the root of all objects in the controller
Organizations are logical collections of objects in the Automation controller. Nearly all objects in the controller have some relation to an organization. It is the building block of everything in the Automation controller.
The following is a chart showing how organizations relate to the other objects in the Automation controller:

Organizations are also a delimiter in terms of access and uniqueness; if a user is a member of organization A, they are unable to use objects in organization B without becoming a member of organization B. There can be multiple job templates with the same name in a controller if they all belong to separate organizations.

It may make more sense to use departments or different groups within a department as the basis for organizations so that each group can have its own credentials, job...
