How and when to use the Sales Orders module
In a - model, the Sales Orders module is only to be used if you are shipping out actual goods and/or you are sending out members of your team to undertake any work onsite, such as installation, servicing, or maintenance as a result of a customer accepting the Quote.
If you are shipping goods, then the main use of this module is to create a Delivery Note, using the Sales Order template editor. The methods used to create this are identical to creating a Quote, so please refer to the previous section for further details on this.
Alternatively, if you are using a different software application for the actual delivery of products/services, then you may not need to use this module.
However, if your business is selling products via an e-commerce website to business users and/or consumers, then the Sales Orders module is critical to your use of Zoho. For the value of this to be achieved, it is a prerequisite that you integrate your website...
