Reviewing and editing Civil 3D objects inside Project Explorer
To provide a good example of some of the capabilities we have available to us within Project Explorer, let’s hop over to the Pipe Networks tab. Here, we can quickly see all of the gravity pipe networks we have in our current file, either designed and modeled directly within our file or those that are data referenced into our current file (refer to Figure 11.7).

Looking at the profile/section pane, we can quickly see the full profile of the entire gravity pipe network that’s currently selected in our object list pane, giving us a quick overview of how the network has been modeled. In the object list pane, we can quickly view a list of all gravity pipe networks in our current file.
